Hey thats Larry Coryell!!

This is really sad to see. What year is this from? Obviously towards the end. The drugs just exasperated the real problem which was his mental illness. Bi polar disorder and I thought schizophrenia. People that over excel sometimes pay the price on other levels.

Poor sick fuck!
-
that bass in invitation is of the hook
-
@A2KID420 it wasnt so much that he was on drugs, it was that he was mentally ill and bipolar...
-
yaw just jelous cuz you weren't invited
-
But that music that he plays....that`s great music. That will go on. Aurex Jazz Festival 1982. It`s on `Invitation`, the CD with that painting of Jaco`s with a parasol.
I say you keep this on. For real. I know what yall thinking but this is who Jaco was: down to earth. How many ppl do u know that r like this?? He was one of (if not THE) greatest bassists of all time, but he wasn't perfect. So what? He was who he was on and off the stage. Yeah drugs are bad, but so what? All the young bassists out there that are like "OMG" should instead learn from his mistakes. Drugged or shaky-sober, he was the greatest to me.
