Indians are the only Americans - as in the Indigenous People of the Americas. The invading Europeans, be they Spanish, English, Danish or whatever are as Acuera noted in 1539, nothing but "professional vagabonds who wander from place to place, gaining your livelihood by robbing, sacking and murdering people who have given you no offense." And just how did America become Europeans 'country'?

It is fantastic to see that there are American Indians out there that are taking the initiative to take things in to their own hands and do whatever they can to make the changes...FANTASTIC!

if the justice department decides to appropriate money to bring 'justice' to 'indian country' under emperor obama, then he's really appropriating money to further incarcerate 'indians' under the guise of 'bringing justice'. This is because the crime that is unaccounted for in 'indian country' is the source of a larger issue. crime that was born out of too many social ills to name that will never be healed because those ills are the result of hundreds of years of oppression and torture.
