  • @Dario4R This recording was made in 2007 when we were young students in high school, following the instructions of our chamber music coach. We are aware of the issues concerning use of vibrato in baroque music, but the recording was made long ago and is what it is. Perhaps we should delete this video-- except that it seems to bring pleasure to most of its viewers. I'm sorry you don't like it, but you have been revisiting it for over a year, so you may wish to stop listening to it. :)

  • @alicelizard One has to be an incredible person to show such a politeness with a guy who's obviously been pestering arounf for such a long time. Congratulations!

Btw, I really like your playing. Though not professional level, it´s a very good rendition for a group of young players. Keep up the good work!

  • c'est trés beau,en quatuor c'est pas facile,félicitation

  • @alicelizard Unlike what most think, baroque isn't totally absent of vibrato. It was used as an ornament, like a mordent or trill. So, while vibrato was used sparingly, it WAS used. And I love hearing different interpretations of pieces. They don't HAVE to be played the way the composer intended in that time period. Different interpretations create variety and spice, yo.
