Defending Israel - Dore Gold on Fox & Friends, July 12, 2011

A video put out by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs shows just how vulnerable Israel would be if it returned to the pre-1967 lines.
Former Israeli UN Ambassador Dore Gold, president of the Jerusalem Center, said:
"A recent poll by Dahaf, Israel's largest pollster, found that 77% of Israelis oppose a withdrawal to the 1967 lines - for very good reasons. Because Israel, with the West Bank, is only 44 miles wide. You take away the West Bank completely, and you push us back to the '67 lines - Israel is only 8 miles wide and it's basically indefensible."

We've just discovered more oil than Saudi Arabia. We just helped S.Sudan free itself from the genocidal Arab Khartoum regime. Greece and Cyprus are now our friends, Greece, Cyprus and Israel surround Turkey. Israel is helping the Kurdish people to have their own homeland. We have good relations with Romania and an emerging super-economy, India.

We have friends everywhere.

We're going to be here for a very long time to come. Love and friendship is more powerful than your hate.
