I've heard reports that in poly-tune mode, it will often tell you that your low E-string is slightly flat, and then when you play that string individually, the needle or strobe shows it to be in-tune. Can anyone address that. Are the reports false, are they being addressed, or none of the above?

It works well in other tunings too, take a look at the manual on our website? 'Extended range' could mean many things, I guess?

PolyTuneTM offers unprecedented visibility using an ambient light sensor, which automatically matches the brightness of the LEDs to its surroundings. (:

This product is not a waste. It is so much faster to strum once and find out that you only have one string out of tune, rather than going through each string individually. Since it is competitively priced, it can't be considered a waste.

Its best if you strum lightly and evenly with your thumb for best accuracy. Its something you just have to play with for a while to get the touch/feel of it. I went to buy the old Boss Chromatic stomp pedal and got sold on this one instead. I've had mine for almost a year and have only changed the battery once. I use it almost daily too. I couldn't be happier with it.
