  • McChesney is erudite, a true expert, a valuable font of information. However his "moter mouth" can be off putting. And he he interrupts any conversation a lot. He is best read or giving a speech. On top of that this interviewer seems to want to yap too, and interrupt too almost as much as bogus liberal Charlie Rose. Conclusion: this interview video is irritating. Ironic: did you notice when McChesney tells the interviewer : hey, hey slow down, lets get to... back to blah blah blah.

  • His comments in 1997 are even more important now, i.e. the Iraq War, a direct result of an illegal propaganda campaign exploiting American media's narrow channel of information to feed only certain messages to the people. Media reform is a bipartisan effort; people are biased against Big Media just as abolitionists were biased against slavery. The system is broken and needs to be fixed. Opposing corporatocracy does not make one a nutcase any more than using vulgarity makes one's argument sound.

  • This interviewer is surprisingly intelligent given talk show standards.

  • I'm only 43 minutes into the video so far, but I have to respond to this. I think the interviewee is calm, cool, responsive and doing a good job here. The interviewer however, is pretty annoying with his constant interruptions, and other mechanisms he uses. He needs to keep quiet, really listen, and do a better job of interviewing.

  • was mcchesney on coke during this interview? don't get me wrong i love the guy but he seemed really arrogant & aggressive to the interviewer who was a nice guy & generally agreed with his standpoint...

  • thanks for posting this! mr. mcchesney is GREAT!

and so is his radio show, MEDIA MATTERS.
