This Hillbilly Life - The Blizzard of '78

In 1978, the Midwest was hit with a rather extreme blizzard. Before it got too out of control, our Hillbilly Mama took this footage of us with the filmstrip camera thingy we had back then. I've redone the editing because I finally got the music I really wanted to use for it... I think you'll find it appropriate. The "Winter Wonderland" cover (done in "Misty Mountain Hop" style by Fleming and John) is quite amusing to me.

very cute! Nice editing, excellent song choice. I remember the blizzard too. I had to walk to school in it & got stuck in a snow bank up to my chest. My mom had to come pull me out. I was 7. Very nostalgic. Thanks!

Actually there was no editing... that was straight from the filmstrip. Mom didn't quite understand that she had to keep the button on the camera held down to film, she thought it was push to go on, push to go off... that's why there are such short cuts.
