Looks like a late 50's Rambler going on the shape of the rear door...hard to believe this was once a brand new, chrome laden car.

thought it might be a 60`s Stude Lark.

@firedup643 it is a mk 1 hillman minx
-
@firedup643 I think so too, a Hillman Minx or Singer Gazelle......or one of the other variants
-
if it is like it is here in Eastern NC it won't be there long as scrap hunters (those vipers) will haul it off
-
Thanks for the Cindi Lauper music I'd almost forgotten about that great song
-
that looks to be wats left of a Rambler Ambassador. Not sure of the year. 50's early 60's
-
@dmx011 thats what I was thinking. Rambler

I think a lot of these cars got back here was because years ago, people, mainly bored teens, would take their junkers and just push them to their limits int he woods until they wouldn't go anymore. that, and some people would just take their wrecks to the woods and dump them kind of like a junkyard.

old stude?

'looks like a hillman minx, a British car.

@trezza181 The geographic location and its features would be very similar to what have you described, cos this area is pure Australian bushland.
Its actually Western Sydney. Ta.

See,
I wonder how all these cars get there.
In my old house, we had woods behind it, and a friend and I went exploring one day, and found a vintage 1950's car.
