@pauceanu000 fix it :) the index.php isn't loading automatic so I had to click on it.

I did everything and it works fine until min 13.20. The joomla setup just won't appear. I see the root files and the other files I have extracted. I refreshed the page a hundred times. Any ideas ? Tks

Hi. I am having a problem with the Joomla installer. When i get to type the database name etc, i get the following error:
Could not connect to the database. Connector returned number: 2
What is that?
My database is mbl_joomla17 and my user, who is linked to the database is joomla17
please respond

@MathiasBachLassen most likely a password problem or your host does not use localhost as the address of the mysql db server. Open a trouble ticket with your host.
