Woman riding alone on horseback is assaulted on a trail. Video shows the assault and links to a site that can help women defend against an assault while horseback riding.
How often does this happen, really? Men who prey on women would not choose to attack one on horseback when I bet there are joggers in the same park! Maybe he meant to steal the horse??
@horseisbeauty Not everyone uses a whip when riding, so when you are trail riding and you don't usually use a whip you don't even think to bring one.

@horsesaremylife2023 I think this is more meant if you are riding on public trails

This wouldn't happen to me as I am unlikely to see anyone, let alone an attacker. Sure is freaky tho!

@Flurryknox2 Yeah that's what my hackney would do. He protects me. He's killed a coyote with me on his back so i wouldn't get hurt. I love him.
