Trowbridge Falls Park and Campground are situated in a beautiful wooded location beside the cascading rapids of the Current River. This full service campground is only a short distance away from Boulevard Lake and Centennial Parks. Along with many hiking, skiing and biking trails, the campground and adjacent Kinsmen Park provide access to popular wading spots on the river. The campground features RV and tent sites with water and electrical services.

Walking for about 5 minutes from the main car park along a bush track, there is a small creek called Sevignys Creek. During high flows, just before the creek meets Current River, there is a beautiful spot where the creek opens up its beauty. The creek completely dries up during late summer months. One spot around Thunder Bay I would recommend to visit....a photographer's dream shot of waterfalls.

  • Stunning pics, over how many days have you shot the photos?

  • I took all these photographs in a day walking the length of the creek/drainage system. It is one of my favorite hide out during summer months. The location is a about 5-20 minutes drive from the city, depending on which side of the city you call a niche..lol. The northern side is about 5-10 minutes and the southern side is about 20 minutes.

    cheers mate..

  • Many thanks Feldwebel Wolfenstool. If you walk further up the creek, there few more veins to the left side of the creek as well. Seems like few people were taking samples there once.

  • I heard this place is haunted?

  • Yes that is correct. This particular location during the evenings can drive you crazy as well. The car park, a small bridge, camp ground D block are good areas to feel this out..Its all fun. Good time to visit the bridge and 3 am in the morning.

  • Thank you Dave for the compliment. regards
