Flint Creek rehabilitation released a pair of Bald Eagles at Starved Rock State park after a fierce storm destroyed the nest. The 2 birds were released at Starved park because there is a large winter population there. It takes up to five years before a young eagle learns to hunt, until then they must steal fish from other preditors.They are banded but not monitored. Sincere thanks thanks to the many photographers who helped me make this wonderful video possable....

  • i remember going to the nest they came from its right over by my house i remember driving by and seeing these babies and there parents up in the nest... when the nest fell i was devistated but its so great that they where saved and could be released sooo beautiful!! :)

  • @Rudyv123 i think they hang around ive seen them up and down the fox river and at the nest sight so beautiful...over the summer when the nest fell i was coming home from a road trip and i saw one of the adults sitting on the tree where the nest was it was sad but beautiful at the same time
