Our speaker at April 2009's Skeptics in the Pub event was the ever popular Professor Richard Wiseman. Like with all our guest speakers, after the talk we tried to interview him. Watch the video and you'll understand why we use the phrase "TRIED to interview him". I have been alerted to the fact there may be sound issues. sadly there is little we can do to rectify this. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Wiseman is brilliant. I really enjoy his site & blog.

cockbroker: What has one to do with the other? He's not a robot. And this was a 'casual' setting, after all. And he's a quirky, energetic guy. That's just who he is.
In answer to your (?), he's a psychologist (those who research behaviours), not a psychiatrist (who professionally nit-pick others' behaviour).

im a big fan of richard, but for a leading phsyciatrist(?) he uses the casual term 'erm' way to many times, concluding he is unsettled in the current situation. erm, erm, erm,
