Dave Navarro - 'Been Caught Stealing' guitar tutorial (audio)

This is an old clip i found on and felt like sharing. From unknown interview, Dave Navarro from Jane's Addiction describes his guitar playing on the track "Been Caught Stealing". I have no idea if there's more of this stuff and if you happen to know where's it from, please let me know.

One the record , dave did alot of overlays. Simple riffs on top of each other. That's why they never really kill it live. Dave who is just one guy is trying to fill the space of 2 or 3 guitar parts going at once. I always wanted to see them own it live and they were good but alittle off because of that reason.

I was convinced at the time that this riff had been influenced by Happy Monday's 'Wrote for Luck'
