HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Americans have had their unemployment benefits cut off already in early 2010. The Republicans in Congress wants this country to continue to believe that they stand for the good of America. FOR DECADES... the FACTS have SCREAMED otherwise!!! Almost everything that they stand for goes against the "common" good of these United States.
Before one of our greatest Senators Edward "Ted" Kennedy passed on, he once said (LOUDLY) on the Senate floor...
"What is it about working men and women that you find so offensive??!!!" This (Frank & Rhetorical) question was directed to the Republicans of the Senate.
Republicans have !!!FOUGHT!!! against raising minimum wage to 7.25/hr... and FOUGHT FOR BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in tax breaks for BIG BUSINESS in 2007!! And they Boldly & Crassly !!!FIGHT!!! for the VERY SAME THINGS TODAY!!!
We have 15 MILLION people unemployed "DUE TO NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN"... But yet and STILL, the Republicans would have the very richest in this country CONTINUE TO BE LAVISHED with sumptuous amounts of money that America CAN NOT afford to just throw away. They would do this rather than agreeing to direct a FRACTIONAL amount of funds towards rebuilding our country's economy and to divert the direction of Millions of good hard working men and women who are on the verge of living in poverty!!!!!
Republicans say it can't be done; "We" can't afford it. They say this in the very SAME BREATH of spewing the rhetoric of spending close to 4 TRILLION DOLLARS in tax cuts to include THIS COUNTRY'S WEALTHIEST!!!!
America is being shredded from within by Republican rules and "NON" regulations... Which is the VERY foundation of why this country finds itself suffering from it's debilitating malady that the Republicans have contaminated it with.
Republicans can not, CAN NOT... Continue to hide behind their lies forever.
