A single slide projector is mounted on a tripod and connected to a motion sensor which in turn illuminates one brick in a large supporting wall (when motion is detected). The work resists projected content relying only on cropped light from the projectors beam. It aims to transforms the mundane support into an exquisite object, altering the viewers prescribed reactions to an otherwise overlooked system.

The work was exhibited in 2009 at the University of Woverhampton in the Degree show.

The footage was filmed on my Canon mini DV handycam, edited in Final Cut Express 4, exported as a QuickTime Movie and then de-interlaced with JES Deinterlacer.
