I forgot to mention, because I was a little frazzled, that this way of eating can also strengthen your will power and your discipline. It can break strongholds, test you, and make you struggle. But you're stronger. You are always stronger than what you are dealing with in your life.

Eating this way has also spread into the spiritual area of my life. I'll explain that in the next video.

I'll add some links here to great websites about one meal a day, intermittent fasting, and The Warrior Diet.

  • So it's been over 2 years since you posted this. Is the Warrior Diet style of eating something you've been able to incorporate into your life or do you just go through it intermittently to cleanse your body. Or have you dropped it completely?

  • @PillsWicky Hi! I've incorporated it, just not to the degree that the Warrior Diet recommends. My food choices are not 100% perfect, but I'm still learning. There are times, however, when I choose to eat very well for weeks at a time in order to cleans my body, just like you mentioned :)

  • Back in 09 I ate once a day and lost 40 pounds in like 5 months it was hard at first but I got used to not over eating and I did not feel like I was starving at all

  • one pound of fat contains 3500 calories (of energy) if you've only been eating 1 meal a day for 4 days you couldnt have created enough of a deficit to lose 4 pounds (specifically from fat)

    the 4 lbs you see deducted on the scale is likely from water weight. you're body is absorbing excess water or water from your muscles to keep itself hydrated.

    and the reason you crave gum to subside your hungry pangs is because it contains sugar...the body converts this to glucose and you get an insulin spike
