  • Thanks very much Toria! Worked a treat :)

Really clear and well explained tut. Do you have any more Wordpress vids on the way?

    Kind regards

    Rob

  • @TheWebsonic Hey Rob, thanks for the comment. I've created a whole series of wordpress tutorials, which I'm going to upload shortly. If there is anything specific you would like me to cover, just let me know and I'll create a tutorial for that. Love and Blessings, Toria

  • @creativetoria Hi Toria, sorry for the delay! Hope your well. I've been working on my local site the last month and it's just about ready to go live. It's great to hear you have more Wordpress vids on the way, looking forward to them! I was hoping you might have a tut on moving the site developed in MAMP, onto a live server/host. Could link really nice with this vid as well.

    Kind regards

    Rob

  • @TheWebsonic Thanks, yes, i'll upload that today. I have a site I was working on so I can use it as an example. :-) I'll message you when it goes live.

  • Victoria, what a great tutorial! Thank you so much! I do have one question. I set this up as per your instructions and got the Wordpress login page. I logged in and that took me to my dashboard. All good. Question is, now that I'm returning to work on the files again, I type localhost:8888 in the address field of my browser and it takes me directly to my site files, not to the login page, so I no longer seem to have access to the dashboard. How do I access the dashboard?

  • @Freakshow980 Hi, You access the dashboard by typing in the url_of_wordpress/wp-admin

    I hope this makes sense,

    Toria
