ya cuz the other terms are confusing.. 1st year makes more sense
-
Generally Canadian students don't use terms like "sophomore", "junior", or "senior", sticking just with first/second/third/fourth year, so that one might refer to a "first year". "Frosh" is the only exception, I'd say. Well, that's true at Acadia anyway!

Meal Exchange was where we could trade one of our regular meal hall meals, for a meal at one of the on campus food vendors. These vendors were such as Coyote Jack's, Pizza Pizza, Perkins, and Upper Crust.
The University's old food provider, Sodexho came under fire by students for not being adequate. Sodexho introduced Meal Exchange as a last ditch effort to win the hearts of Acadia students. Unfortunately it cost them for too much, and so Chartwells took over as food provider.

Frosh is all over Canada, not sure about the States.

you're the new queen!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, freshman is used all over North America.
Usually freshmen are the "newbies" hence they are not invited to senior's parties and cool events and so on...just a bit of "academic racism" but YES it is a term used in Canada and the United States.. Regards, P

You look hot today. Actually... you look like you're suffering from liver failure.
I think the same legend of Maui pertains to Hawaii as well.

Sorry I don't know what that means ... and it didn't say in the article either. I'm going to ask someone what it means.

I have a request ... please make me a short video today or tomorrow for the 500th show on Saturday. More details in the description. One person has already sent me one (thanks Tony). It would be great if lots of people were in it! Go on ... it'll only take a few seconds :)

Ok, I'll try :)
And I thought about asking people in the YT-forums about it. Which video file format can you handle? Which do you prefer? And should the videos be sent to your Gmail address?

Cool! That would be great.
I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements - so whatever that can handle ... mpeg, avi, mov, wmv etc. I don't have a preference.
