I don't really know what happened to carmens and shanes relationship cuz I'm not allowed to see this series....=( Could someone explain me???

it's hard to explain everything, but to cut it short:
Shane and Carmen wanted to get married. Shane's dad and his wife were invited too. The evening before the wedding Shane saw her dad cheating on his wife. He told Shane that this is the way he is and Shane should know what that means. So Shane thought she is exactly like her father and would eventually cheat on Carmen later. That's why Shane left Carmen at the altar, although she loved her her.
