The Scottish Election Campaigns are under way. The Scottish Green Party has put up candidates across the country, all of them hoping to be elected on one of the eight regional lists. The party has long recognised that it's best strategy for success is to persuade Scottish voters to use their second vote in the proportional representation system to support Green candidates. Patrick Harvie is one of the party's co-convenors. This is his appeal to voters.
Listen Captain Planet - nobody ever votes for the Green Party in Scotland. There is no argument in being an alternative when you have no majority whatsoever. A vote for green is a vote for blue.
