  • Mitt Romney Will be PresiDent of the USA in 2013.........

  • @FireYourJOB I sure hope not. He is one of the worst liberals in the Republican party. I am ashamed to say we are a part of the same religion. I am not aware of any of its distinguishing tenants he agrees with. Doesn't believe in agency, doesn't believe in the constitution, loves big government and organized YOUTH homosexual pride rallies.

  • we all need to stand up for freedom Ezra Taft Benson was right and now its happening to us.

i thank God that we had prophets like Ezra Taft Benson and today we have a liveing prophet Thomas S. Monson who leads us today.

  • The Fairness Doctrine in NO WAY prevents ANY discussion and in fact does the OPPOSITE. It provides that any opinion broadcast be required to provide equal time to opposing views. What we have today is propaganda being presented as news without any discussion permitted....like in Nazi Germany.

  • @FireYourJOB 2012 not 2013

  • Not giving airtime to anyone with an opposite view is anti-free speech. Look up your constitution.

  • @Pisces31660 - I was raised in a traditional Catholic family but I am in no way religious by any stretch of the imagination. I disagree with anyone who is anti-gay, that is just ridiculous. If people of the same sex want to live together, grow old together and love each other that's great. As long as you aren't hurting anyone I'm OK with it. We need more love in the world anyway. I'm just hung up on the traditional because of my attachment to my parents and what they believed in. Be well.

  • @RocktheStageNYC and i can respect that "its just what i believe" n we can have a meeting of the mind ;-) so long as u keep that personal n not in the public arena when it comes to secular institutions such as marriage. u r correct when u admit this is an "emotional connection" n u n conservative christians r allowing ur emotional values impact others who dont share the same values nor must they. so be apart of justice as Micah calls u to b. "act justly, love tenderly, walk humbly w ur God"

  • @Pisces31660 - I have said just that - I have no problem with gay couples getting full legal rights as traditional couples - just call it something else. Your bartender analogy is non-sequitor as lots of words in languages have been turned into words to also describe a totally unrelated thing.

My emotional connection is my parents and the traditional family unit. It was how I was raised. Its hard to describe really. Its just what I believe, nothing more.

  • @RocktheStageNYC ok if u genuinely mean what you say..then u would even go so far as to stand behind your word and actively "advocate" for full equality for gay americans getting the exact same benefits/protection of "marriage" but calling it something else? fine...but i'm still curious..what is the "emotional" connection for you about that "word" . r u aware that in bartending when one pours a liquor from 1 bottle to the nxt it's called "marrying" do u want that protected too?

  • @Pisces31660 - well seeing that I am only 4 years younger than you I guess its OK to still think like a teenager every now and then. BUT you really just can't see the simple idea of choosing another name for same sex legal partnerships? Really? Are you that incensed with the very idea of traditional marriage between a man & a woman that you have to trample upon it. Two men, two women want to be legally bound - fine by me. Just call it something else.

  • @RocktheStageNYC i didnt say it is ONLY about tax benefits or insurance but if it werent then there would be no divorce n legal proceedings etc. people wud have no reason for legally marrying they wud just live together as many do. n u argue like a sophomoric teenager. "thats right u cant own a word so pick another one" LOL u dont own it..u dont get that part do u ?? no copyright dude. as for catholic wow serious example projection u got hang dude. america is not a catholic nation snap out of it
