CN 326 is running hot! After picking up a cut of gondolas in Coteau, the train races east to get to Taschereau Yard. Crossing Riviere Delisle with CSX 109 and 7771.

CSX 109 and 7771 would return to Massena the next day on CN's 327.

  • looks good powering round that bend,

do you know what's in the gondolas ?

  • @jhoboken - not sure really.

  • @jhoboken - for covers like that, I believe it's aluminum ingots but these cars were empty, heading east for loading.

  • @ConrailSD70MAC - I think I own that CSX motive power assignment manager lunch after the video of July 22 2010. CSXT 7490 in CR paint leading a train into Canada.

  • @x1sspic - Thanks Scott. The old Conrail runthroughs will be gone soon. Railfans from both sides of the border should get video and pictures of these trains. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that both railways will operate the trains with rare motive power in the weeks before the change.

Come on CSX! Do us railfans a favor! Run a set of untouched Conrail units for a week on this train. I'd treat the motive power assignment manager to lunch if he/she did this.

  • @moon47mars Catch these trains before October. CSX and CP are entering a trackage rights agreement, and this traffic will be shifted to CP's D&H and these trains will no longer exist. Great video btw! Most of the locations that I catch these trains as CSX Q620/Q621 they run at 25mph, so it's great to see them run at mainline speed!

  • @ConrailSD70MAC thanks . I appreciate

you adding these small details .. train

    IDs ..destination of train etc.

  • @tommyrail67 - yes there was. Someone, a farmer, was brush clearing at a farm crossing. He would duck down and hide in the brush when trains would approach on the nearest track.

  • great video, was some one out in the feild at the beginning

  • @ConrailSD70MAC - I didn't know that. Thanks for the info!
