they tested the new MKS against Maserati, BMW, Mercedes, and Jaguar on a road course in Loveland Pass and only the BMW 550 beat the lincoln. the MKS is at least 20 grand cheaper than all those competitors. sounds like MKS is by far better for the price.

I can see where you are coming from. The challenger is a PoS. Dodge doesn't make the best quality cars anyways. If your going to buy American and you want quality, you have to buy Ford, Lincoln or Mercury. Although the Christler 300 is very nice ride ( just rode in one yesterday i was very surprised) Look into a Ford next time you won't be disappointed, i hope.

@MovementDesign Thanks for the clarification...certainly you can can see why i had doubts but i am 100% clear on what your video entails and i am planning on buying an MKS ecoboost so my concerns are high and i want to make the right choice, it's either the 300c SRT-8 or the MKS

ah my friend you are forgetting one thing, those cars are gay.
have a nice day :)

Yeah, its quiet and nice. But it weighs FUCKING 4400 POUNDS !!! MORE THAN ANY OF ITS COMPETITORS !!!! Also it gets the same gas mileage as the Infiniti M56, which packs a huge 5.6 liter Good ol' rompin' V8 packing 426 HORSEPOWER, any questions ???? There is nothing EcoBoost about it, it gets the same gas mileage as the new 2011 BMW 550i, WHICH HAS A TWIN TURBOCHARGED 4.4 liter V8, with 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque !!! Yes that's 100 more than this, and it gets the same gas mileage.

@mcgoof17 I would expect a forced induction car to do well in HIGH ALTITUDES, as the N/A cars would dwindle......

That looks like the 2009 MKS gauges. Im a tech at a Lincoln dealer. The 2010s have a bigger speedo in the center of the panel, the tach on the left side, gas gauge and coolant temp on the right.
2009s didn't offer EcoBoost... Although this video was made in Feb. 2009, they might have put the EcoBoost engine in a 2009 as a test...
The car is VERY nice, and I would definately reccomend it to anybody who wants to buy a Mercedes, BMW or Audi. Plus, its assembled in America! Great quality!

@mcgoof17 I don’t think German engineers can be beaten that easily. German khow how to make a real car and you must give them credit. I had Lincoln LS in the past the comfort is great, the performance is top the price is very great if you compare to Audi or BMW, but the main problem is reliability. I loved my Lincoln, but it makes me pay stealership thousands of dollars and sit me in the rain and given me a lot of headache. Unfortunately reviews on edmouns give the MKS very bad in reliability.
Thats not a 2010 MKS he's driving, the unstrument cluster is different from the 2010 and the 2010 models all have throttle shifters on the steering wheel. Wow! why would they false advertise like that??

@kdemonde it's a 2010 powertrain development car, hence 'sneak preview' - we were riding in a Lincoln development mule - you can see the disclaimer + sticker info on the dash at the start of the video. So it has the earlier dials and no shifter paddles, but rest assured it definitely had the ecoboost engine under the hood
