  • Talk about really meshing into a role...I can hardly tell her apart from the real queen!

  • This excellently composed video should have been used as the official trailer,in my opinion. If "The Queen" proved nothing else it proved just how human she is.Yes,she got it badly wrong by not immediately coming to London from Balmoral,to be with her 'subjects'.BUT,she had to balance the need for her subjects to see her with HER need to spend time with the two young princes.'Duty first'?! Hmm,a tough one in this particular circumstance. After all, with Diana's death a precedent had been set!

  • @Songsmirth her spokesman said the Queen didnt watch it. But she did invite Mirren for tea. I guess it's best to answer she did not watch even if she did in her position; otherwise, how to answer media's further questions?

  • Did the Queen say what she thought about this movie?

  • I have the full film on dvd,I've been searching for it for a long time but I FINALLY FOUND IT !!! IS AMAZING !!

  • @histre101 Yes, which is not often, the Queen spends most of her days at Windsor and Sandringham, only state and private occasions will you find her at Buckingham Palace but what has the flag got to do with anything? everyone knows that when the royal standard is flying above the palace that she's in residence (well most do)

  • @Chad4U uh, yes she does.....when you see the royal standard at the palace, the queen is in residence, meaning she is living there.

  • Yes No10 has a direct line to Buckingham Palace, I don't think the number ever changes because Buckingham Palace is the Official Office of State as well as the Queen's Official Residence of State even though she doesn't live there
