FF9 Ozma

So this is supposed to be considered the hardest boss in all final fantasy games, Ozma only took me about 6 trys and i beat him on my b-day which is june 28th

To get to Ozma, you need a Gold Chocobo

Also if you are going to him physically you need to find spirits which ask for ores and stuff

Equip your party with armor that absorbs or reduces or nulls Shadow and Holy magic Also for your abilities equip Clear Headed - it prevents confusion, i forgot to do that for Steiner

Its recommened to have your party at least lv. 60 but i beat him with zidane being highest as lv. 57

If Ozma's dark side is up - Use Shadow Magic like Doomsday which is gained by Vivi and the Zeus Staff

If Light Side - Use Holy Magic with Eiko from her Angel Flute

Have Steiner use Shock - Learned from Ragnarok

When I beat Ozma, I had darkness absorbing gear and did the friendly enemy side quest so Ozma didn't absorb shadow. Use doomsday and doomsday sword ftw!

Hardest boss? Seriously? I was like 10 and I beat him easily after a few tries :s

With the item that makes you learn Odin (it's called somethin' like H-space in french). It deals 9999 damage to anything, and you can get 2 of 'em, I don't remember how though, but I still at least had 1 when I defeated him.

dude thats scary my birthday is june 28th too and im beat this game around that time
