How does it stand up to tire shine? I never used it when I Plasti Dipped my Motegis just in case. I'm sure it won't hurt it at all, but just wanted to be safe.

Hell yeah. I did the same to my 06 ex. Even the part in the middle of the lip. Except I don't have the HFP lip, but it still looks good. I also plastidipped the front H badge since the Ex's grill guard thing only comes in that dark gray.

@85TexasPointer Bro I really want to! Like now that i'm lowering it and getting fogs and stuff I think I should bring it back.... but should I use real paint this time ?

How did you get such a clean finish on the lip? I recently got a 2012 civic coupe and wanted to do this but I was thinking if I masked off the section I wanted to paint then the tape would pull off the plasti dip. Your car looks great man!

@SubliminalNinja514 same thing happened to me, I just applied a light coat on where the tape ripped it off and hurried and whipped it off on the part i didn't want it on before it dried and it came out good.

thought about getting new rims for my volvo but might try this stuff out...
Would it work on my bumpers and maybe sideskirts/trims as well? they're faded grey right now :(

@Madvillane Yeah it should work, I painted the middle of my front bumper. It's kinda of a flat black too though.
