VOD release of DMT: The Spirit Molecule in Oct 2011. Visit the official website for more updates: http://www.thespiritmolecule.com

The Spirit Molecule explores the enigmatic dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a molecule found throughout nature, and considered the most potent psychedelic. In 1995, Dr. Strassman completed the first government-sanctioned, psychedelic research on DMT, with results that may answer humanitys greatest questions.

  • Did this actually occur, or are you just saying that it would be a cool experiment?

  • It hasn't happened, but it would be a really cool experiment. However, Marko has published this paper in a scientific journal.

  • Cool experiment. auspicious wording.

only interesting questions is : WAS IT EVER DONE>

    WHAT WAS THE RESULT?

This is an easily made, reproducible event. 10 minutes to change the planet.

I bet it did not work.

  • @dmttsm

    So this experiment ever done?

    what was the result?

was this an innuendo to an outcome ?

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • OMG He's so HOT.

Super my type. I want to eat him alive.

  • he needs to speak so i can understand at speed and not have to look up every second word lol

  • @Lorentz5 No, sorry I no longer discuss philosophy. I have much larger concerns in this day and age.

  • The problem with the "DMT beings" as real separate entities from us, is that the test for this is hard to design. The test proposed in this video is very specific and doesn't really give us good answers. How would it test differentiate between a true separate entity being, versus access to a previously unknown human potential? We come right back to the human experience of the "other" and how objective that is, particularly under the influence of psychedelics.

  • @Lorentz5 Think beyond comp-sci. Where's the law saying that an algorithm is required to reveal a previously known truth? The big (p*q) product has prime factors {p,q} inherently in our world. They have even been known during the original process of multiplication, so to compute them is not to create any truly new information. Perhaps the "DMT beings" provide access to a broader information space, rather than computing the answer as we humans must. You get the idea.

  • @dmttsm I have read the abstract of his paper and its all nice, but I have to agree with J. Kent that these tests are unreliable:"If you want to ask such an entity to give you a prime factor of a five-digit number, it may give you the finger instead, or produce a grotesquely elongated phallus, or simply dive into a shimmering pool of hyper-plasma never to be seen again. Running an experimen like this is akin to asking a drunkard to spontaneously calculate the 40th digit of Pi when he passes out"

  • @Lorentz5 Of course it could always be random or someone playing games. I like the fact that Rodriguez is trying to think of some kind of tests that are more objective and less subjective. But in my experience, it is difficult to even retain memory of circumstances I was in prior to tripping, let alone a specific number. Tests like these seem extremely hard to implement, especially because of the legal system.
