JC's Tomass Limiter Settings

A video for those who want to get really good audio out of the Tomass Limiter. This will give you a sound that is close to an Orban Optimod 8100/a broadcast audio processor. The sound is very old-school and works best for music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. :) JC

[Merge98FM]

I tried the Tomass Limiter on Merge98FM, and the settings I found were gate = -90db, Overdrive = 50%, Process = centered, LF and HF = 100, LF Release = 100, HF Release = 524, no Bass Depth, 0% Band Link, No Clipper or Expander. I had to go back to Sound Solution though.

Have you a settings with a deep bass and a good quality???

Start with the settings in the video and boost the bass depth until you get as much as you like. The higher the number, the more prominent the bass will be. However, this DSP does not 'boost' the bass like an equalizer would so you can't overdo it. :) JC
