Tahanoub is a village in Qalyobeya , Northern Egypt with a population of 25,000. It, like many other villages around Cairo, is considered a slum area/3ashwa2eyya. This name reflects on the chaotic and disordered nature of these places.
Throughout the past ten years, the media has contributed to the sullying of the image of the people in those so called '3ashwa2eyyat.', thus leaving the community with no intent of attempting to develop these places. Today, SIFE pulverizes this ill tarnished image by directly involving its team in Tahanoub.
This documentary shows Tahanoub's problems and how SIFE AUC intends to bring perpetual development there.
