The closing ceremony was a little rough. It was nice, funny, boring in places, and generally inoffensive. I really don't see how it captured Canada at all. ;)

the first second i thought it was rick roll

Oh one more thing.. You CANNOT generalize a nation as a whole just because of a few interactions you have had with a few people who are from that country.

Its also sad to see many Americans say "Overly proud Canadians"... Because that is the same outlook many Canadians have on Americans. That they are "Overly-proud" and put us down. Lets stop the hate. Lets come together, we're neighbours afterall! :)

There is a difference between having pride for your nation and being extremely egotistical and nationalistic. There are both such great people from Canada AND America. Why does there always have to be this ongoing battle of "Who is better?". The honest answer would be neither. If one was truly better, the better one wouldnt put down the other. Yet I always see comments going back and forth.

We owe you money?? Funny considering nearly your entire economy comes from the US.
-
@JohnQRandom hah is that why your economy sucks and you owe us money
Look at all you proud Canadians. Youtube really attracts dumb asses from your country. If you cocksuckers ever stop ranting about your country you would relies that the U.S. and Canada have a symbiotic relationship. Both would suffer greatly without the other. I'v never had a Canadian curse me out in person. To bad too i would enjoy kicking Canadian ass. Canada rocks BTW i dont hate.

Wow it's really too bad that any time I go on a video about hockey or about the USA hockey team the top comment is always from a Canadian saying how they are better than the Americans.
