@hkfairbanks Ok, I got it hehe. I was talking about smth more homemade-ish, though. Of course I new I could just copy your design and have it made, haha! Thanks though for taking the time and answer my question :D I love your work, and I would've bought a gamegripper ages ago if only i had a phone with a physical keyboard :D The I controlpad it's actually out of bounds for me 'cause the dolar value in my country is off the roof, haha! So, thanks anyway!

How much would this cost?

Why not now.as android 4.0 have native support for Bluetooth keyboard and game pad..or maybe just motorola as webtop can be use with usb keyboard and mouse
-
we have to try again cause your pad is waaaaaaayyyyy better than iControlPad,ms100 and experia paly.
cause i should work on any phone and not only that.
It has 6-Facebuttons that is perfect for street fighter and other games and 2 shoulder,
well it could use 1 extra shoulder (behind the first one like an R2 button on the right would be comfy.

I WANT ONE for my HTC Sensation!!! I just added snes, gba and sega genesis to it. This would complete my collection! This is a great freaking Idea. If i was rich i'd fully endorse you. This right here is a money maker.
Well, I happen to own on of those Mini Bluetooth Keyboards...Is there a way I can mod it myself and get a gamepad out of it somehow? The more it looks like this game gripper the better! I'm expecting ideas!!

Yes of course you could make your own. All you need to do is design all the pieces in 3D CAD and then have them machined from solid blocks of plastic. If you are really good you should be able to copy my design with a few days work. The pieces will cost you about $800 to have them machined if you can find someone to do it.
Why not just buy an Icontrolpad though?

It's too bad you didn't take the necessary risk to put this on the market. I can't imagine many products can get off the ground by expecting people to pre-order enough of them to pay for most of what it cost to get started... if you do this every time I think hardly anything would ever get started.
Someone will launch one eventually and make the money you could have.

$30k was only a fraction of the cost it was going to take to get to market. We went to kickstarter mainly because we had two major competitors launch their products. The Xperia™ PLAY and the icontrol pad are both excellent products with years of development. Ours would have been cheaper but also of lower quality when compared to the construction and available features. There are people making money in this sector and I am happy for them!
