Once i was a little as a kid since i was five, i always see my father play this game alot. when i always heard that song, I dance to the beat every time when I interupt him in his free time.
Good thing that my father got this game in PC, and we also own Civ 3 as well.

@ot63 and that whistle will get stuck in your head for the whole week

Edited version of this also played in main menu and when you started new game. Shit. Now I must go and play some Civ2.

Civ I was great in its day but Civ II was much better. However, the subsequent incarnations have become too complicated and too much about aesthetics than game play. Its easy to go through a whole game in civ iv without going to battle. Just aim for a cultural victory. Its a hollow victory though. No game satisfaction.

@KookyKoopa12 Montezuma's Civ IV theme is a heavily edited remix of this.

Amaazing makes feel like an army of jaguar and eagle wariors are approaching.
I think this tune is part of Montezuma's theme in Civ IV as well...

Wasn't that also the same song that was used in the first Civ to indicate an Aztec or Barbarian victory ?
It was around 1995/1996 that I played that game so my memory can be inaccurate.
