My 1992 Civic D15B8 sounds like it wants to die.
i let the car warm up, and when i push the gas, for a second it sounds like its going to die. kind of like its choaking lol. also, when i drive wile the cars cold, it drives fine. but once it warms up, it sputters really bad and wont accelerate when i push the gas. any ideas?

  • Also just noticed something, at :45 to :47 seconds into the vid i seen that one of your vaccum hose's is pinched above the throttle cable on the intake plenum, atleast thats what it appear's to be. And one more minor note, if you wan't to see if that intake tube is all hooked up right, there are some bolts on the bumper you have to remove, the one's infront under the hood infront of the hood latch, and one on both fender well's. There is a seal connecting the tube to the bottom of the air box

  • I see you have your timming advanced a bit (or so it looks to me) , still have stock everything except the wires. I have the same motor in my civic, and it sounds like you could use a vavle adjustment. Also sounds like your pulling in a bit too much air, to be honest with you for you to better understand that engine (insted of me explaining on here) , buy a haynes book for it and read carefully. Thats probally the best advice you'll get on here dude, but you never know !
