In 2004 there were two major security breaches in the British House of Commons. The first on 19 May 2004 during Prime Minister's Questions when Fathers 4 Justice threw purple powder on Tony Blair and the second on 15 September 2004 when a group of pro-Fox hunters, including Otis Ferry, invaded the Commons during a debate.

  • Technically the Speaker made a mistake. He should have declared a lock in for all those in the house until they knew what the powder was. As it turned out it was harmless but it should have still been contained
