The Pagri here is metaphorical, atleast thats how I perceive it .. "Pagri Sambhal" => retain and never lose your Principles. It is about the morality that is above all the 3 religions.

@shazkhan85 The sikhs are warriors at heart. that is why they are so straight forward. I had a very good friend who is sikh..he was like my brother. I absolutely respect their history....brave and defiant till the end I dont think there are anybody in this world at this time who can measure up to their sense of honor and courage.
