President Obama's Speech at the House Republican retreat in Baltimore.

President Obama spoke to House Republicans at their retreat in Baltimore. In his remarks he said he welcomed disagreement and debate, but called for genuine bipartisanship and asked for constructive ideas in confronting the nation's problems. Following his remarks he openly and frankly answered pointed questions from the Republican legislators. Topics ranged from health care, to energy policy, to taxes and the economy.

The poor man does not grasp that they either hate him or they are playing on the fears of citizens to whom he represents their darkest fears. There is no reason for the vitriol and irrational hatred for the man except that he is Black. His being elected reached deep into the American psyche and takes a hammer to the belief that white Americans are god's gift to humanity, that they are the masters of the world.

I love how people paint the president as a communist, but fail to realize that in the Constitution, Congress makes the policies. It's them you should guide your anger towards at least. I also like how many of you fail to realize that essentially republicans have got what they wanted through this administration, but still just want to spin it like Obama is the problem, only so they can get a republican president so they can take more from most of Americans.
