'Slip slidin' away' is by Paul Simon and is a completely different song. This is called 'Slippin' and slidin'.
Still great though.

R.I.P Emma Lu Mcwhorter. This was one of my sister's favorites. She use attend his shows on Arburn Ave in Atlanta, Georgia during the late 50s.

About 1970 I saw Little Richard at a lounge act in Reno. He packed the place every night. I had a chance and asked him to sing this song. He smiled and slowly replied "I don't sing that shit no more!"
