No reason to insinuate he's bigoted based on that. Perhaps he meant that Blacks had attained a place in society where affirmative action was no longer necessary. At any rate Affirmative Action and other government interference has done more harm than good to Blacks and other minorities. Take a drive through any predominately Black neighborhood in any major U.S. city today and it'd be hard to deny that.
