I believe that this video is being somewhat paid by magic jack, becuase reporters do their job, go to work and that's it, now Herb is either in love with this product or got paid by magic jack which I believe happened, I have had some minor problems with my magic jack however I still think is worth it compared to the big money you're supposed to pay, this is the first generation of magic jack so by the second or third it will work flawless (I hope)

I use it in Puerto Rico with no problem, except that they do not have our area code. It has saved me a lot of money even when I travel to the US. That little thing had saved me the roaming charges from my mobile company.

Magicjack works fine...nearly flawless actually only issue i have is that they dont' have local prefix available...so that people locally call me from a land line phone it's long distance..cell phone users and other VOip User's it's not long distance...but i mean for 20 bucks a year unlimited calls US and Canada...even if it was only outbound calls it is well worth it...great technology

It did not help that much, but I found out magic jack keeps track all the phone call you make on it.

The thing is he's not doing a test with a another person on the other end. I have one for me it works not so great, I did do an update for the software at there site and will another test this weekend.

A 5 year plan my not be a good idea because something else might come better than this in the meantime and you maybe stuck with than plan.

funny how it works great for some, and for others its just plain bad. I am going to roll the dice and get one because i have a friend that swears by it. It will be my home phone which i use very rarely. Ill let you guys know if it works for me.

I got a MJ about 6 months ago and so far it works perfectly.5 Year plan comes to less than twenty dollars a year for unlimited calls.

I purchased one of these devices for my elderly father who live thousands of miles away so he could call me without costing him too much money, as he is on a fixed income. Once he got the hang of it, he really enjoyed the saving....That is until the day it STOPPED WORKING for no reason. He thought he did something wrong. I let him know that he did not. In fact, it seems common for these 'magic jack offs' to die after 30 days, making it impossible to return for a refund. And Customer Service? HA!
