Chicago's Finest River Walk tour is the city's most fun and dynamic historical walking tour. It's new fall tour, "Borger , Brew & Burnham," combines their complete signature history walking tour along with a stop at the legendary Billy Goat Tavern. It will feature a discussion about Daniel Burnham and the incredible legacy he left in Chicago. This tour departs every Friday at 3:00pm and, like all of their tours, begins at the DuSable Bust at the North East corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge. The tour lasts about two and ½ hours and is a great way to spend the day admiring the awesome views of the Chicago River while learning why it is such an important part to our city's history and ever changing future.

Chicago has the sixth annual Umbrella Music Festival coming to town November 2nd through the 6th. This Jazz festival will focus on artists from the diverse, cooperative and thriving local scene. This year the event will serve as the focal point for jazz and improvised music from Chicago and beyond. The festival continues over the weekend at the regular Umbrella Music venues and features an incredible line-up of world-renowned artists including The Berne, John Butcher, Marshall Allen, Odean Pope, Mary Harvorson , Matt Wilson and many more. It includes two nights of FREE concerts at the Chicago Cultural Center on Wednesday, November 2nd and Thursday November 3rd.
