I spotted this electric motorcycle conversion in Santa Barbara, California on Saturday June 28, 2008 in an Albertson's parking lot. If anyone who sees this video knows the guy who owns the bike, have him send me a message. I'd like to know more about it. Looks like a 1970s or 1980s Japanese bike converted to run on 48 volts.

  • You should have put a note with you number on the bike

  • It is not a conversion. It is an electric motorcycle (24V) manufactured in the late 90's by EMB using a VR motor. The bike is called the Lectra. Go to evalbum com and electricmotorbike org

  • very cool!
