Dying Patient Denied Liver For Using Medical Marijuana

The University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle is supposed to be in the business of healing... but their Liver Transplant Committee has refused a life-giving liver transplant to musician and Hepatitis C patient Tim Garon, who will die without the transplant.

Seattle's KIRO 7 News made a bonehead mistake in their reportage: Garon used the medical marijuana with the recommendation of his physician, which is legal under Washington state law.
