  • You have captured a priceless moment in an awesome evening - respect.

  • Oh no, he's doing his background vocals by himself. He's outsourced Paul and Storm to an iPod!

  • @TheMyrmo My point is that there are plenty of other interpretations that make sense, many of which share certain aspects with yours but differ in others, yet you act as though you know exactly what every part of the song is about. I think chances are low that you're JoCo himself, so just because you've embraced a certain interpretation of the lyrics doesn't mean you can go telling people that it's the end-all meaning of the song. You can't tell Kuuirnko what it IS about, because you don't KNOW.

  • @haircut74 The lyrics. What part of that seems confusing? "Drinking alone" implies separation. "I won't sign a thing" implies a divorce of some sort. "I catch a look" implies he's stalking. He runs away through traffic, and then "holes in the bellows and blood on the keys".

    This isn't rocket surgery.

  • @TheMyrmo Where did you get that from?

  • @Kuuirnko THE CRY IS A LIE!

  • You do realize, kuu, that this about a guy who got run over by a car while stalking his ex-girlfriend? I mean, yeah, it's a haunting melody, but...

  • Beautiful, Ain't going to lie, I cried alittle.

  • @MoarOfTehRawkege

On twitter JoCo was asked why his album was so dark by his previous standards, and whether he got a divorce. But he replied that he had "just turned 40" while writing the album. Cheer up Life Begins at 40 and all that, says the woman who is freaking out about turning 30 next year.

  • @MoarOfTehRawkege I think it is about a person who cannot live without the separation from a partner and utimately chooses to end it all - commiting suicide. It is a beautiful haunting song. Storm once called it "the song that will haunt you mind for the next month."

  • Ok so it has been 5 months since I saw this world wide exclusive at the Bristol concert it is more beautiful than ever. This is the best version I have heard, in my opinion better than the Artificial album version. Thanks again for uploading the best video of it available on the interwebs.
