One of the most misunderstood concepts in all of information product affiliate marketing focuses around Clickbank and its Gravity score. Understand that Gravity is NOT a measure of popularity of a product or its sales. Rather, it is a time-based figure of merit on the success that other affiliate marketers have had selling this product. This video, in true school-room fashion, focuses on what Clickbank Gravity actually is and deciphers how one can derive the Gravity of a Clickbank product (roughly). And in conclusion, we brainstorm what this number ultimately means to us as online affiliate marketers.
Here is how gurus make money.
Sign with Clickbank, login , click on Market Place, select any product, click on Promote button next to the product you want to market, Get your affilaite link.
Go to Eleavers.com sign as advertiser, compose ad to your affiliate link.
Go to Miami enjoy the money.
How ?
With Eleavers.com you pay $1 for 1000 visitors, in which you get 10 sales, each sale commission about $20 so you get $200 for each $1 you spend.
Spend $100 you end making ~ $20,000

Thanks for the explanation. What this means to me is that gravity is more likely than popularity to predict whether the average Joe can sell the product. An item can have high popularity but it can be heavily skewed towards a very talented or lucky marketer who has page 1 position 1 on google for the right set of key-words.

Don't mean to be overly critical, but as a teacher I must say, there is too much verbiage to make a simple point. This is not the platform for detailed explanations, but rather a summery. A classroom setting would be more appropriate. People searching the internet dont want to spend too much time if they dont have to. Far too much time was spent here explaining something explaining something so simple.

Thanks Metthew. You've just got a new fan. The summary of your video is that the clickbank gravity is not the no of sales but the no of affiliates that are in the market who are putting their best efforts to make sales. Which ultimately means more gravity equals more competition.
To be honest, I've tried products based on popularity and got good results.
Thanks a lot again for a very informative video.

Thanks for highlighting Gravity does not equal Popularity. It's far better to find top selling products by CB's own popularity ranking in teh MarketPlace rather than gravity.
