  • @DoctorNambu that's all? This car made very close to 800whp without ever removing the head. The entire engine was bone stock, with an LS1 intake and a factory ls6 cam. During which it would get 25+ mpg and was quiet. The car ran for years and never blew so much as a head gasket.

  • @foxbodymustangboy89 why u ask?...because the 5.0 that came stock in these cars made only 215 (flywheel) hp and only 170 RWHP LOL....and the LS1 he replaced it with makes 350 flywheel hp and 300 RWHP....he wants to shit and get thats why he put a GM engine into it...the ONLY good motors Ford makes is the new 5.0...everything else has to have a supercharger to make decent power and to make 350 RWHP N/A with an old 5.0 took a mean head and cam package..that on an LS1 can make 500 RWHP

  • ...faggots cryin over ford and chevy... seriously who gives a flying fuck, you retards act like the only thing that plays into how fast a car is how big the motor is.... god you guys are dumb fucks, take a stock corvette (with a 350) and race any stock fox body... the result a winner in the corvette. why cant we just appreciate fine machines when we see them?

  • @ilovechevy1 LS1 is also 10-15 years newer than the engine that came factory stock in these. Personally I'll take a Ford engine over some Chevy crap. But to each their own and power is power. I respect this build, it's creative and seems to work for the guy. So hey, nice job to him Lol

  • bro i got the same car and fiber glass hood

  • @91fiveohnotch That's kind of the point slow50000 is making though....the engine was not "built". In fact, it was damn near BONE stock.

  • @ilovechevy1 your a chevy guy i can respect! The LS motors are no joke but a equally built 351 will make equal power, i guess it's all just physics in the end

  • I hate that it has a chevy motor! But i cant help but love it!

  • @DoctorNambu yeah check out this vid here on the tube>>> C6 ZR1 Bone-Stock on Stock Tires--10.74 133.21

  • @ilovechevy1 I seen a Ford GT run 11.2 on streets but 10.7...that is fast...all I know is that I would take either the ZR1 or the Ford GT in a second and not have a problem driving them everyday....

  • @DoctorNambu yeah thats a stout engine..but stock to stock you gota give it to the ZR1 vette in my opinion..the GT has 550hp and the ZL1 has 630hp..the ZL1 is also faster around the track than a Ford GT and also it's faster in the quatermile..they have ran 10.7's on street tires..wich is 500K supercar territory times..and it is also cheaper than a GT by atleast 20k or more..but the GT does support alot more HP with it's forged engine i gota give it that atleast

  • @ilovechevy1 Yea, I love the 5.4l in the Ford GT I seen one with 1800HP that did 267MPH in a standing mile.

  • @DoctorNambu yeah..both brands have thier ups and downs...i actually think GM has cheaply made interiors for most thier cars and Ford seems to have better made interiors but i have alsways believed GM makes more powerful engines..GM performance parts sells a 630hp LSX ( small block) engine that supports over 2000hp!..they have a 505hp LS7 and a 630hp LS9..GM has some stout ass stock engines..i also own a 2005 GMS Seirra 4x4 with 120k miles and it has'nt had so much as a hickup yet
