Funny. He sure can jump. He is rather large. I'm not being mean I'm just concerned. I know your vet commented about his weight. My vet made me feel like I abused my dog because he was a few pounds overweight. He weighed 85 pounds. After that he was between 78-80 for the rest of his adult life. Thanks for posting your picture. I love chocolate Labs. Mine passed away April 2010. I'm finally ready for another dog.

aww i used to look after a female choc lab called Caso, she was overweight like your dog (ino your dog has a condtion and it cant be helped) but she was fine she was just fat! :L she was adorable though and I didn't care how big she was. The only annoying thing about her was she was scared of cats but she slept with our cat, so when we took her out she pulled us down the road when she saw one. :L Your dog is lovely :D

cool dog! we have a female chocolate lab, shes so old and fatter than your dog! Best dogs ever, labs are awesome! Anyone who posts a negative comment is a failure.

i think he needs to be jumping. he's overweight and it's not healthy for dogs.

You need to reduce the amount of food you give your dog. It's cruel to allow a dog to be so fat. Labs should be able to run and run all day but I doubt your poor dog could.
Cut his food.
