even though i only started gymnastics in 2000 i definately wish i was involved in the 60's and 70's! Its so effortless unlike many gymnasts today!

i completely agree. As time went on, it became more of the competition then the elegance. people competed for who could do the best tricks, and it lost a lot of elegance. Some of them don't even look nice. A lot of gymnasts today would laugh at the world class gymnasts in this video competing moves like that on such a high level, but it looks so elegant it sometimes beats them out.

i love the types of videos the simplicity and elegance of the older gymnastics is just beautiful and on floor they really showed the flexibility and i really like it in the 80's when theyed tumble down then back.old school gymnastics is simply amazing.
