Sisters Organize for Survival (SOS) is a grassroots campaign launched by Seattle Radical Women. Claudine F. speaks for SOS about their current fight to save the Washington State Basic Health program - a state subsidized program created in 1986 to enable workers with the lowest incomes to acquire health care coverage - which faces a 43% funding cut starting Jan. 1, 2010.
SOS is actively working to stop this assault on the poor and encourages others to get involved.
