I'm a better anarchist than you!

We all know someone out there who just has to be more badass, extreme or true to a cause then the rest of us; but no matter how much they try; things never quite go as planned; and often they just make things worse...

"I'm a better anarchist than you" is an satirical and ironic tale of one of these individuals who so desperately wants to be the best anarchist out there; yet disaster strikes every time he tries...

As a part of the American musician David Rovics' "Big Red Sessions"-album (free for download on his web page www.davidrovics.com), the film is animated by the Norwegian Flash-animator Bjørn-Magne Stuestøl (www.shagrat.net) in collaboration with David Rovics. And that's the point of the song; you'll always find someone who thinks he/she is so much better than everybody else, that their actions end up way out of proportion or off track of what's important. ;)

The song itself is inspired by several "anarchists" David has met through the years who were kind'a like this and did more harm to the cause then good. So there's a valuable lesson in all the humor :)
